Little handcarved dancers, based on artifacts from the Han Dynasty Da Baiyang Tomb 大白杨.

Worn by both men and women, these jade pendants called Yupei 玉佩 were tied to the belt to weigh it down. By weighting the belt down, the it becomes more taut, ensuring that the inner robe doesn't become unraveled. 

Makes a delightful twinkling sound with every step. 

 

Materials: Hetian jade beads, lapis lazuli, red stone, imitation pearl, amethyst

Note: Amethyst version comes without center pendant.
