A color found in countless artworks and murals of the Tang Dynasty: this stunning lake blue was a favorite color of the 7th century, and now our favorite here at Nüwa Hanfu! Named after Poyang Lake in Jiangxi province, the Poyang 鄱陽 Yuanlingpao Round Collar Robe & Pants is the perfect blend of historical elegance and modern comfort.

Beloved by men and women of the era, the Yuanlingpao 圆领袍 (round collar robe) was a comfortable, simple, and casual option for daily life. This particular set references the painting "Court Ladies Preparing Freshly Woven Silk" by Emperor Huizhong.

This unisex ensemble features a lightweight and breathable rayon robe in a vibrant teal hue, ideal for the mild temperatures of spring and autumn. The long slits along the side allow for ventilation, while the loose fit ensures ease of movement throughout the day.

Complementing the robe are wide-legged pants made from Tencel, a fabric that mimics the texture of linen with added softness. Adorned with a subtle floral pattern in soft pastel tones, elastic waistband for versatile comfort, and pockets!

Note that Chinese sizes are smaller than US sizes. To avoid wrong sizings, please refer to the sizing chart in the photos. Please measure in centimeters.

 

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
