Product Info

Based on artifacts from the Mawangdui 马王堆 archaeological dig site in Changsha, China. 

The Quju 曲裾 is one of the oldest forms of hanfu. Hailing from the Qin and Han Dynasties (221 B.C. - 220 C.E.), the curved hem robe was worn by men and women alike, making it a popular unisex item for hanfu enthusiasts historically and in modern timies. 

Exquisitely woven satin fabrics shine as if the artifacts have come back to life. The pattern upon the trim showcases the beauty of geometric Han dynasty textiles - even in its early eras, China has always been renowned for their weaving technology.

Base shirt and petticoat are made of 100% soft cotton, allowing your skin to breathe easily beneath the outer curved hem robe. 

Marvel at the intricate construction of the Quju and step back in time to the earliest forms of Chinese dress!

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
