Product Info

Strong and powerful like the planet Mars (called Huoxing 火星, literally "fire star"), this moody restoration set from the Northern Southern Dynasties contains one of the 5th century's best trends: feathered sleeves.

Fear not - they're not real feathers! Feathered sleeves called Yuxiu 羽袖 were a popular accessory from the Wei to Tang Dynasty and denoted long ruffled sleeves of any kind, tied on separately over the shirt.

In modern times, these fun sleeves are preattached to the half-sleeve jacket called Banxiu 半袖! 

The bold stripes of the Poqun 破裙, or "broken skirt", create an elongated silhouette. With fiery warm tones and intricate woven details, this 5th century inspired set is a beautiful example of palace fashions.

Mostly selling fabrics, Zhaoxi Chen also offers a handful of premade and custom sets for the Han to Tang Dynasties. CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
