Product Info

A tribute dress to China's first-ever female architect, Lin Huiyin 林徽因, a poet, writer, and China's first ever female architect. She is celebrated as one of the leading female intellectuals of her time.

This qipao showcases the sophisticated aesthetics of the Republic era whence Lin Huiyin was from, and even features an iconic trend from the period: a two-piece qipao set! 

Designed with winter in mind, this qipao is thicker than your typical dress and is slightly padded for extra warmth.

Seamless faux two part design that mimics the layered look of a separate blouse and dress. The sleeves are made from soft and warm knit, delicate lace trimming around the cuffs add a romantic touch. The classic knit pattern adds a certain casual touch to the dress, making this perfect for dressing up or down.

The outer layer is the main star of the show: a sleeveless qipao in a serene teal hue, adorned with subtle floral patterns and intricate white piping. Traditional Manchurian cloud trim is added around the symmetrical double-breasted design, symbols of good fortune. Body contains rose floral jacquard, a subtle but romantic touch.

Perfect for creating architectural marvels like Lin Huiyin, museum field trips, and cozy coffee runs! 

 

Recommended to add 2-4cm to your measurements for a comfortable fit.
