Product Info

100% wool knit cardigan, based on Zheyi 褶衣 (folded jackets) from the Weijin Dynasties. Crafted with a stunning indigo blue and porcelain white geometric pattern, this comfy cardigan evokes the aesthetics of traditional Chinese pottery.

The Zheyi 褶衣 was a favorite garment for men and women of the Weijin, commonly left open over ensembles, or tucked into bottomwear. The Chu Xu 初旭 Early Sun Cardigan is a double-layered version of the garment better suited for colder weather.

Double-lined for comfort and warmth, the outer body is made of intricate sheep's wool that provides a windproof effect. Inside is lined to ensure smooth contact on skin. 

 

This item has a 35 day construction period.
