Product Info

The essence of the Early Tang - flowing skirts and bold color combinations! This timeless set can be worn for a variety of casual or cultural events, and can easily be dressed up or down. 

Begin your look with the white Chuiling Shan 垂领衫, "dropped collar shirt". The foundation of the outfit with an elongating scoop neck and long sleeves. A great base for any Tang ensemble! 

Layered over, a striking black Banbi 半臂, a short sleeveless jacket that adds depth and contrast to the ensemble. The Banbi is adorned with delicate white circular patterns, a subtle but unmistakable Tang aesthetic. Collar and armhols are trimmed with yellow, tying it with the skirt.

Completing the set is the turmeric yellow 12-panel Poqun 破裙 (broken skirt), a flared A-line skirt made of 12 long panels of fabric. The "broken skirt" offers both volume and movement thanks to this construction. The vibrant hue of the Poqun contains the warm colors favored during the early Tang period, while the super flared silhouette ensures a dramatic flow with every step.

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a flat surface or hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles
