Product Info

A laborer's workwear from the Ming Dynasty, constructed with the same pleats as a Mamian (马面, horse face skirt). The Xuanzi 旋子 Spinning Thread Apron is much shorter than the typical horse face skirt, allowing for ease of movement.

Typically worn by Ming men over Ku (裤, trousers), this extra layer adds dimension and protection for the traditional white undergarments. 

Made of natural and breathable cotton, this is a fantastic layering choice for those warm summer days!

Note that Chinese sizes are smaller than US sizes. To avoid wrong sizings, please refer to the sizing chart in the product photos. Please measure in centimeters.

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles. 

For cotton garments, machine wash delicates with warm water. Tumble dry on medium heat or hang dry to better preserve threads. Iron on medium heat.
