The Xian Chun 衔春 Holding Spring Set contains Late Ming Dynasty silhouettes in contemporary colors! Mix and match each piece as you please to create your very own unique Ming look.

Brocaded sparrows fly up and down the Bijia 比甲 (long vest), featuring parallel panel style collar and extra long design of the late Ming. This iconic layering piece can be worn over other long tops, or over a simple tank top -  a popular look during the summertime! 

Base fabric features brocaded floral and geometric print, sparrows are highlighted in red & gold threads. Available in black, white, or sky blue. 

 

Pair with the Mamianqun 马面裙 (horse face skirt), the most popular skirt of Renaissance China. Constructed with trapezoidal side pleats and two large panels on the front and back, this skirt creates a gently A-line shape without the need for a petticoat! 

Fabric features a small Lan 襕 (decorative border) around the hem, this thin border design was created to pair with longer tops and vests. Contains even more flying sparrows among cherry blossoms. Base fabric has a subtle floral design in tiny chained frames. Available in light green, light pink, or vibrant teal.

  • Bijia 比甲 (long vest) - 100% polyester. Custom-dyed, high-precision weaving, pattern is laid diagonally, not continuous and may be broken along the collar section.
