Simple, soft, and suitable for a variety of hanfu ensembles - the Sa Man 萨满 Shaman Han & Wei Dynasty Zhiju Robe is an elegant and versatile option for any hanfu lover. Made from a skin-friendly cotton and linen blend, the fabric is perfect for a variety of weather, 

Features a delicate pinstripe pattern running throughout the fabric, intricate weaving techniques that are a hallmark trend of the Han and Wei Dynasties. Choose from a black robe with white and red weaving, or a red robe with black and white stripes. 

The zhiju 直裾, or "straight-hem robe" were long robes with an even hemline. Tied with belts at the waist, these were the typical outfit for men and women for many centuries.

Note that Chinese sizes are smaller than US sizes. To avoid wrong sizings, please refer to the sizing chart in the photos. Please measure in centimeters.

Recommended height sizing:

  • M: 160-168cm
  • L: 168-172cm
  • XL: 172+cm

For reference, model is 167cm tall, 49kg, wearing a size M. 

 

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a flat surface or hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
