The Song Dynasty's classic skirt in an array of soft and delicate colors, perfect for the upcoming summer! Custom sizing available ~ 

No petticoat needed for these fun skirts, super opaque fabric for an extremely versatile garment. Pair with Song Dynasty tops, Ming Dynasty tops, or even your favorite modern T-shirts for a touch of historical elegance.

The Baidiequn 百迭裙, or "hundred pleat skirt" is a single panel of fabric with many pleats sewn onto a single waistband.

At the front is an attached large panel called "skirt door". This large panel can be styled at the front, back, or sides of the body (which was a fashionable move back in the day). this was the precursor to the large skirt doors of the Mamianqun 马面裙.

This accordion pleat effect is extremely hypnotizing and beautiful ✨

寻秦, or Searching for Qin (Dynasty), is a long standing hanfu shop with over 10 years of experience. Being one of the oldest stores, they surprisingly have a small selection of hanfu. Although their collection is small, they focus in on the details of basic pieces to the point of perfections. From basic shirts from the Song Dynasty, to brocaded mandarin square shirts of the Ming Dynasty, Searching for Qin has been a go to for any hanfu enthusiast looking for quality pieces that easily go with any of their hanfu.

 

CUSTOM SIZING

Please only fill out customization fields if you're purchasing a custom product, custom measurements for standard products will not be applied.

Please fill out provided fields with your waist circumference, hip circumference, desired garment length, height, and weight. Follow the guide below to measure accordingly.

  • 4.5m Swing Skirt - Max Waist Circumference within 95cm only
  • 6m Swing Skirt - Max Waist Circumference over 90cm only

Swing refers to the amount of fabric used to create a larger circumference (think of the flare while spinning in a skirt). 

Measure points:

  • C (waist)
  • D (hip)
  • I (desired length)

 

SIZING INFORMATION

Note that Chinese sizes are smaller than US sizes. To avoid wrong sizings, please refer to the sizing chart in the photos. Please measure in centimeters.

 

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
