Feel the opulence of the Qing Dynasty with the Liujin Mudan 鎏金牡丹 Gilded Peony Embroidered Qipao! An exquisite demonstration of artistry, embroidery, and imperial aesthetics.

Worn by Manchurian women, these heavily ornate one-piece dresses are the origin of the Qipao as we know it today. 

Rich, traditional colors of satin jacquard are accompanied by intricate floral embroidery. The peonies, symbolizing prosperity and honor, bloom across the dress in vibrant shades of pink, blue, and green, enhanced by delicate butterflies that flutter amongst them, bringing the garment to life.

The collar and wide sleeves are lined with contrasting black trim, embroidered with additional floral motifs, providing a striking visual balance to the bold colors of the main fabric. Arm cuffs feature another white trim with more delicate designs. 

The traditional Manchurian design is typically wide, straight cuts, exuding a regal aura while remaining comfortable.

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a flat surface or hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles
