The perfect statement skirt for any Ming Dynasty ensemble, the Jiucang 旧藏 Golden Mansion Mamian Skirt was made for those with an affinity for the finer things in life.

Adorned from top to bottom in intricate woven brocades of cranes, peonies, phoenixes, lanterns, and more! Not a single corner is missed with gorgeous golden threads, even the underside has a clean lining! A small auspicious poem can be found within the lining, adding good fortune to every step. 

This ornate, all-over pattern is typically seen in Ming Wedding skirts, however can be enjoyed in daily and casual hanfu outfits!

The Mamian Qun 马面裙 or "horse face skirt" was the quintessential skirt of the Ming Dynasty. Worn by women of all classes throughout all seasons.

Wear with any variety of Ming Dynasty tops or layer with your favorite sweater for a cute modern ensemble.

 

Regular sized skirts have a 55 day construction period.

Customized skirts will have a 75 day construction period.

Note that Chinese sizes are smaller than US sizes. To avoid wrong sizings, please refer to the sizing chart in the photos. Please measure in centimeters.

 

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
