Product Info

The perfect elevated basic for any Ming Dynasty outfit. High density jacquard with varying prints for different colorways. Double-sided lining adds dimension, contrast, and a fun pop of color as you walk! 

Mamian Qun 马面裙 or "horse face skirts" are an essential Ming garment, worn by women of all classes. Plainer skirts like these were commonly worn for daily wear.

Choose from various traditional color palettes, each with its own unique imprinted pattern:

  • Autumn Green & White Lining - Garden windows with flowers and vases
  • Pink & Red Lining - Grape vines, a symbol of abundance
  • Yellow & Blue Lining - gardenias, peonies, and roses

This item is custom sizing only and has a 45 day construction period.

Materials: 100% high density polyester jacquard, softer than your typical Mamian.

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
