This item has a 7 day construction period!

One of our favorite designs of the Wanli Era (1573-1620), this long top is made with thick 100% cotton fabric in a stunning indigo jacquard fabric. 

Tops during the era called Yuanling Changshan 圆领长衫 (round collar long top) are characterized by the ultra long design and arrow-shaped sleeves, contrast trim is added along the collars, cuffs, and bust to draw the eye down.

This version features contemporary style trim that adds the perfect amount of modern refreshing to an otherwise traditional silhouette! 

Side slits along the side allow for extra movement, floral jacquard adds a romantic touch, and the bust is perfectly complimented by ruby red buttons. 

Pair with the matching jade glazed Mamian Skirt 马面裙 (horse face skirt), finished with golden brocade along the bottom trim. Sparkling floral weaving mixed with geometric patterns upon a base fabric with classic Ming cloud & peony pattern. 

Bottom trims during the Wanli Period are lower to the ground due to tops becoming longer as well! A sign of the extra long tops yet to come further down the dynasty.

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a flat surface or hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. Please iron using lowest heat settings or steam out wrinkles.

Cotton top should be handwashed separately.
