If you're searching for the perfect set for summer, look no further than the Ningbi 凝碧 Modernized Song Dynasty Set! Made from light cotton fabrics, each component of this elegant set can be easily styled with modern garments.

The top is inspired by the Song Dynasty feijixiu (飞机袖, airplane sleeve), a style of top that has wide sleeves that taper towards the wrist. This top can be worn forwards or backwards, allowing for more outfit combinations. 

The skirt made from comfortable cotton knit is a truly stunning faded jade color, adding a serene aura to the ensemble. Inspired by the silhouette of the sanjianqun (三裥裙, three panel skirt) which contains three large panels with many pleats between, creating a beautiful flared skirt. 

Embrace the fusion of past and present with this beautiful and elegant top.

 

This item has a 10 day construction period.

  • feijixiu (飞机袖, airplane sleeve) - 55% cotton, 45% polyester
  • sanjianqun (三裥裙, three panel skirt) - 70% cotton, 30% polyester

 

About the brand: 萃

萃, recently changing their name from UTOD to CUI, is a small brand dedicated to modernizing hanfu for daily wear. You might recognize them from their Best Selling hanfu inspired winter coats from last year that were unfortunately discontinued. Their new revival as CUI with all new modernized hanfu designs is a welcome surprise and we are hopeful to see even more of their seasonal sets!

 

SIZING INFORMATION

Note that Chinese sizes are smaller than US sizes. To avoid wrong sizings, please refer to the sizing chart in the photos. Please measure in centimeters.

 

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
