Product Info

The Ming Dynasty yuanlingpao 圆领袍 or "round collar robe" was a popular garment for middle and upper class men. Features the iconic Wai Bai 外摆 "outward pleat", a sharp wing on either side of the hips that add structure, as well as help keep heavy belts up! 

Made from a lighter twill fabric, this classic garment is better suited for warmer weather. Versatile piece that can be styled with any number of belts, headwear, and bottoms. 

Features a lotus root button at the top, an elegant feature symbolizing abundance and wealth. Perfect for scholarly outings with the boys, grabbing tea on a Sunday, and other casual literati activities! 

For the complete Ming ensemble, layer over a cross collared undergarment, long trousers, or a Mamian skirt 马面裙.  

 

Material: twill polyester (100% polyester fiber). Thin, soft, and allows for good ventilation. 

Belt not included.
