The Su 素 in Suya 素雅 can also be translated as "vegetarian"! Together, Suya 素雅 means simple elegance, however you can definitely tell the "vegetarian" influence in the design 🥗  

Deep green like leafy kale, complimented by cherry tomato dots, and pearl buttons! Made with 100% cotton fabric, this qipao from head to toe is a natural delight. 

Subtle interlays of dots run down the length of the dress, created with specific weaving teachniques. This adds an elongating and elegant effect! 

Lower side slits, looser waist, and longer hems area all hallmarks of Republic of China era qipao construction. The emphasis was on comfort for daily wear, making this dress also perfect for your daily wear.

Add 2-3cm to your measurements, then choose a size that accommodates the added measurements to ensure a comfortable fit.

For a looser vintage look, add 4-5cm.

Machine was ok, separate lights from darks, wash with neutral detergent and cold water. 

Air dry or lay flat, tumble drying with high heat may shrink garment. Fabric is already pre-shrunk, heat may make it shrink over time.

Pretty good dress, I like to color. I'm 5'3, around 130lb, I would've fit a XL but sized up to 2XL since my waist measurements fit that size better and i could always tailor it in, which i did end up doing. The collar is too high for me, personally, and makes my neck look short lol. If you're not used to a very high collar (like me) it's gonna feel uncomfortable. The buttons are somewhat difficult to use, especially the two right under your armpit. I darted the waist, cut the dress shorter about 3-4in, and opened the side slit higher for the new length. I would lower the collar if i could jusg cause it's not flattering on me. Pictures are before and after alterations I made. Overall a good dress.

I originally planned to order the size L based on the size chart, but after reading the reviews, I decided to go with XL instead. It turned out to be the right choice! The dress fits comfortably without feeling tight anywhere. The cotton fabric is soft, pleasant to wear, and slightly thicker than I expected, which makes it perfect for autumn. I also absolutely love the green color—it looks beautiful in person. I'm very happy with this purchase!

She is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I love this qipao, it's such a lovely color with a simple but elegant pattern. For reference, I'm ~135lb, 5'4". I followed the sizing advice and got a 2XL, was afraid it'd be huge but it fits well!!! Not too loose and not too tight. Only thing is I wish there was a clothing tag so I could verify it's 100% cotton. But overall I love it, super excited to wear it over and over!

I've wanted a qipao for forever but always had a hard time finding one that fit me, especially in the hips. I love the looser fit of this dress in the waist and it fits me perfectly as bottom heavy girl. I normally wear a US dress size 10 and I ordered this in the 3XL and it fits perfect! First time buying from this brand, very nicely constructed and fits exactly how I wanted (bought a size up in 3XL for the looser vintage look) and the cotton fabric is wonderfully textured and heavy, a pleasure to wear. The only reason I can't give this full marks is because mine came with a rather large and noticeable rip in the collar, which I am thinking of patching over with some embroidery 🪡 lovely qipao otherwise!
