Product Info

Nothing is quite as elegant and stylish as a classic Republic of China era qipao! The Frozen in Time 凝的时光 Woolen Qipao is perfect for chilly days, office outfits, and evening events. 

Made in the style of 1920s/30s qipaos, this is an approachable everyday dress with a few modern adjustments. The main fabric is a modern woven yarn texture, flexible and moves with you throughout the day while staying cozy. Silhouette is wide and loose, perfect for layering other petticoats and skirts beneath. Lower side slits are a hallmark of Republican Era qipaos.  

Collar features a parallel panel style closure, as opposed to the typical asymmetrical cheongsam collars. Highlighted with white lacy trim, complimented by small pearl buttons - this elegant dress is a dainty and approachable introduction to vintage Chinese styles.

Note that Chinese sizes are smaller than US sizes. To avoid wrong sizings, please refer to the sizing chart in the photos. Please measure in centimeters

Recommended to add 2-3cm to your measurements for a comfortable fit. Add 3-5cm for a looser vintage fit. 

 

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a flat surface or hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles
