Product Info

Base layer for a multitude of Qing Dynasty outfits, worn by both Han and Manchurian women of the era. 

With beautifully decorated cuffs, the embroidery tells a story of a serene scene of goldfish, butterflies, and pond flowers. These historical trousers are sure to be one of your favorite pieces! 

Chenku 衬裤 (base pants) have been an essential undergarment throughout Chinese history, taking on this ornately embroidered form only in the Qing Dynasty. 

Base fabric contains jacquard of more flowers and butterflies. Elastic waist allows the garment to move with you throughout the day.

Versatile for any era - pair underneath any Qing Dynasty dresses, Mamian 马面 skirts, and perfect for layering beneath qipao and ao dai.

Note that Chinese sizes are smaller than US sizes. To avoid wrong sizings, please refer to the sizing chart in the product photos. Please measure in centimeters.

 

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
