Step into the red walls of the Ming Dynasty imperial palace and feel the luxury of the highest class.

This traditional round collar shirt from the Ming Dynasty, called Yuanling Ao 圆领袄, is a piece directly from artifacts of court officials' uniforms. Two cranes dance across a background of brightly colored Chinese clouds, a creature typically reserved for those of the highest ranks.

Red capped cranes represent longevity, immortality, and wisdom and have been prevalent animals in all forms of Chinese art and culture.

The wide Pipa sleeves 琵琶袖 are a signature sleeve style of the Ming Dynasty, and a fantastic pocket for your phone, wallet, and keys!

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
