A delightful wide-leg trouser made of 100% natural ramie plant fabric, the Kaidang Ku 开裆裤 (open-crotch trousers) was popularly worn by men throughout most of Chinese history. The Song Dynasty version features wide pleats and a wide waist band. 

With lots of ventilation on the legs and - well, you guessed it - the crotch area, these pants have been perfect for summer for millennials!

Pair with any Song Dynasty long shirt or outerwear for a classic summerwear outfit, or pair with your favorite T-shirt for a uniquely contemporary ensemble.
