If you love comfortable fits, opulent embroidery, and regal fashions, the grand robes of the Qing Dynasty are perfect for you! The Yuyin 玉隐 Hidden Chenyi contains the very best fabric, needlework, and silhouette. 

Typical outfit for Manchurian women during the Qing Dynasty. During this period, Han women wore two-piece sets while Manchurian women wore long one-piece robes. Characterized by heavy embroidery, contrasting trims, wide sleeves, and overall wide shape, the Chenyi 衬衣 is a lighter version of Manchurian robe, worn for daily wear during the 18th century. 

Available in a variety of traditional colors, all adorned with a plethora of flowers including peonies, chrysanthemums, butterflies, and more. Details along the collar, trim, and cuffs all add vibrancy and dimension to this colorful outfit. Handmade garment.

Base fabric contains jacquards of small floral emblems, they glimmer oh so beautifully - like little flower coins in the sun ☀️ Faux double cuff design adds dimension without the unnecessary layers.

Wear as-is, or layer on a Majia 马甲 (short vest) over the top, or even add a dramatic cape. Alternatively, pair with a turtleneck, belt, and a fun hat for a cute going out look!

Note that Chinese sizes are smaller than US sizes. To avoid wrong sizings, please refer to the sizing chart in the product photos. Please measure in centimeters.

 

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
