This ensemble features a cozy, fur lined crossed collar jacket based on the Jiaoling Ao 交领袄 (crossed collar top). Embroidered with designs of bamboo and mountains along the collar, complimented by faux fur to make it pop. The jacket’s warm, winter-ready fabric ensures you stay snug during the chilly months! 

Underneath, a unique Quling Shan 曲领衫 (curved collar top) mimics the look of a classic turtleneck, offering the familiar comfort we love with the timeless silhouette of hanfu. This layering piece adds both style and warmth, no scarf needed with this high neck top. 

The set is completed with a classic Mamian Qun 马面裙 (horse face skirt), golden brocades of serene clouds, rivers, and bamboo shoots echo the motifs of the jacket. Signature wide front panel and crisp side pleats, these skirts can be worn with any variety of modern or traditional tops.

This is a lovely jacket! And the embroidery is ever so gorgeous~💖 The fabric is felted, so it's dense and warm!! The collar and cuffs are lined with faux fur (corresponds to the embroidery locations), with the rest of the garment being quilted, not just lined with a lining fabric. The garment ties also have a subtle jacquard weave; hopefully this is visible in the attached photo collage. Though as the collar ties more or less in the middle, I could've sized down by a lot -- according to the size guide I was sort of between an M and an L, assuming I would have other layers underneath, e.g., a thick jumper, etc. I'm thinking of adding a button to the right side seam and a buttonhole to the corresponding waist tie so that I can "tighten" up the jacket and tie the collar at the side (and not centre, but still can if I want to). Fortunately, the way the fabric is cut, it drapes nicely and so the jacket doesn't appear to be oversized on me at all. (Refer photo for my showing how the width of the jacket can vary based on a slightly adjustment of my raised arm angle, as this shows just how much room is available at the bust measurement/area.) Alas, no pockets, but the sleeves are flappy and big enough that you can probably use them to store small items (haven't personally tested this though).

Tui Qiu 退秋 Return to Autumn Modernized Ming Winter Jiaoling Ao Jacket & Mamian Aoqun Set

TLDR: Nuwa Hanfu is great, but this shirt is awful. I only ordered the black shirt, hoping that it would be a nice modernized hanfu look to add to my collection. Unfortunately, this is the only miss that I have experienced so far when ordering from Nuwa Hanfu. Immediately after opening the package I noticed a sharp smell, and the fabric itself is extremely thin and plastic-feeling for an advertised winter outfit. The fit is also atrocious, and overall it was very reminiscent of a Halloween costume from Party City. I cannot vouch for the rest of the pieces in this outfit, but considering the other reviews left already, it is fairly clear that this brand is of significantly lower quality than some of the others on this website. Please take this review with an understanding that I have currently bought 6 articles of clothing from Nuwa Hanfu, and only this one has been an unfortunate miss. I cannot recommend enough the clothes from the brand Mystery A'Huang and Shun Hua Ji, and the brand Double Seventh also has some nice clothing. So please do not take this review as indicative of the quality of the hanfu of the rest of this site.

I got another mamian skirt before (the yue long one), and compared to that, this skirt is a lot less hefty and nice feeling. Not bad quality, but noticeably thinner which also made it super wrinkled out of the packaging. The ties also felt a bit more flimsy. For a winter inspired set I was expecting this skirt to be more heavy, still pretty colour and embroidery though
