Product Info

Excavated from Mashan county in Guangxi, China, this Warring States robe from the 3rd century BCE is a stunning glimpse into the fashions of the time. 

Made with brocaded trims along the sleeves, contrast red lining, and a long train, the Mashan 马山 Warring States Zhiju is a dramatic and striking unisex option for any Warring States lover. 

The zhiju 直裾, or straight-hem robe, were long robes tied with belts at the waist and were the typical outfit for men and women until many centuries outfit. 

Full set contains:

  • Zhiju 直裾 Straight Hem Robe - 80% rayon, 20% nylon
  • Inner Zhiju 直裾 - 100% viscose 
  • Dai 带 - 80% rayon, 20% nylon

This set has a 45 day construction period. 

The belt may not be purchased independently and must be bought with the robe in the same order.

Belt (both wide and thin version) only comes in one size: M.

Note that Chinese sizes are smaller than US sizes. To avoid wrong sizings, please refer to the sizing chart in the photos. Please measure in centimeters.


CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
