Product Info

Bright and contemporary, the Crane & Crane 鹤鹤褡 Men's Modernized Ming Daopao mixes traditional silhouettes with modern fabrics.

Based on the classic Ming Dynasty outfit consisting of a:

  • Daopao 道袍, a long cross collared robe that literally translates as "Taoist robe"
  • Dahu 褡护, a half-sleeve long jacket originating from Mongolian clothing
  • Optional Zhongyi 中衣 cross-collared undergarment

Symbols of longevity and wisdom, hundreds of tiny cranes fly across the Daopao. 

The collar of Daopao has a striped design, creating a unique contrast against the cranes!

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
